Weaver ANTS

An original documentary, filmed within tropical Northern Queensland, on the ingenious “Weaver Ants” (Oecophylla smaragdina), also known as “Green Ants” here in Australia. From their large colonies and intuitive nest structures built up in the trees from leaves...to their brutal tactics of stretching out their victims...to their incredible teamwork, constructing ant bridges to traverse their environment...to their patient farming of mealybugs and aphids for their sweet honeydew...Weaver ants are certainly very fascinating ants!


MEAT ANTS

A documentary on Australia’s iconic Meat Ants (Iridomyrmex purpureus). Covering everything, from the way they kick box to resolve conflict, to their fondness of leafhopper poop...Some very fascinating ants indeed!


WOOD ANTS

In this video, we are far from home...up in the North America! Taking a brief look into the lives of the highly sophisticated, Wood Ants (Formica spp.). Also known as Mound Ants, Thatching Ants, and Field Ants.
